I did this run mainly to compare the Gobblegut strategy with the one used by Packattack. This run ended up being a couple seconds faster.

In the first phase of the fight, the first 2 hits are pretty consistent, but the position of the third bulge can sometimes vary. Occasionally, it's directly above you, while other times Gobblegut will move to the left instead and the bulge might be out of reach.
In the second phase, I spend some time baiting Gobblegut around the planet. Making Gobblegut wrap around the planet brings the bulges closer to the ground; if Gobblegut is too tangled on itself, it's bulges are usually too high to reach. I wasn't able to find a way to hit the bulges without running around the planet first.
