Part 31B - Floor switch to end of Pyramid
Part A: youtube.com/watch?v=XaKEmd-Zk7M
Hieroglyph enemies that emerge from walls always seem to fight alone. You can avoid fighting groups of enemies by engaging a hieroglyph on a wall first.
Poo will leave the party for a while after clearing the Pyramid. If the Hawk Eye goes into Poo's inventory, try to give it to someone else.
Outline:
0:07 - Step on the switch.
3:08 - Return to the room with the large casket and fall through the hole. Obtain the Hawk Eye.
Notes:
1:45 - Rain Pendant: protects from Freeze. Not that useful because only 3 enemies that appear later can use Freeze. I keep the Night and Flame Pendants equipped on Ness and Paula. For Jeff, I prefer the +15 speed increase from the Crystal Charm.
4:00 - A Magic Butterfly often appears in this room. Exit and reenter until PP is replenished.
My rules for this walkthrough:
1. I don't use Big/Multi Bottle Rockets because I think they make the game too easy. My hope is that not using Bottle Rockets will give you a better sense of what each boss is like and make these videos more interesting.
2. I don't do any level grinding. I'll point out when I think I'm under-leveled in the videos.
