"Super Mario Bros. But Different" is a beautiful .EXE game was created by a guy who calls himself on the internet Tronnix & released it back in November 2023. This game, which he claims, was made in under a month is a combination between 2D & 3D visuals, with somewhat realistic effects, shades & sounds, being made in Unreal Engine 4. The game itself will start pretty normal, with Mario who wants to go to the Town Toad. The first level in this game is a pretty neat of the first level from the 1985 platform game developed and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES), "Mario Bros.". The controls are simple: w/a/s/d to move and jump, you can also use the space bar to jump. You can also run with the arrow keys and you can sprint with shift. You can crouch using the bottom arrow key or using the S or control key. If you're in the air you can crouch and then do a ground pound. You can collect coins during your journey, but cannot hit ?-blocks or break bricks & collect power-ups. Mario will, however, be in his super form. Once you reach the castle at the end of this level, you'll be transported into Toad's Town, where using the "E" key, you can interact with NPCs. There, you'll find out from a Toad that an evil copy of Mario is haunting them & begs Mario to save them by defeating that monster. At the end of the town, you'll enter to another Toad's house where something scary happens. The lights suddenly go out & you hear some creepy Toad rambling & furniture breaking & a wall too. After the lights starts working again, you'll notice now a huge hole made in the right wall of the house & a trail of blood that goes through that hole out. In the window of the house, you'll see the evil Mario peeking at you and next to it, on the wall, the question: "ARE YOU SCARED?" written with blood. After that, the screen will fade out & then you'll wake up in a mountain region, where it's night & here, you'll have to follow evil Mario's directions & if you disobey him & try to go near him, he'll kill you, by eating you alive. But, if you follow his directions, you'll end up in the middle of a red Sigil of Baphomet, drawn on the ground. After that, you'll get again, transported, in a pitch black underground area, where you gotta run from evil Mario, who's chasing you at a high speed & if he gets you, you're again, eaten by him. If you manage to outrun him, you'll eventually jump over a lava river, where he'll stop chasing you & will lose track of you. Next, you'll find yourself at Bowser's Castle, where you gotta jump over lots of pits filled with lava, avoid enemies such as: giant Thwomp & Podoboo, jump on cloudy platforms. Towards the end, you'll be chased by a giant Koopa, who'll try to eat you. If you manage to escape it, you'll end up in Bowser's room where right before you try to fight him, evil Mario will eat him & kill Mario too.
