"FUNGUS.M" is an online web browser horror-game, created by the user named What Studios & released on Game Jolt, on April 18, 2022. This is actually a pretty short game, but it will still manage to make your adrenaline go high. In this game, you'll have to beat the 2 classic levels of Super Mario Bros., Overworld & Underground. Despite the fact that the first level seem to be very easy because at first, you might not notice any enemy at all, there are however enemies in this level, that are hidden in plain sight. The enemies I'm talking about are the Mushrooms! Yeah, you read that right! The mushrooms are the enemies in this game, because when Luigi tries to consume one to grow, they actually instantly kill him, due to the fact that they're poisonous fungi. They can be found in ?-blocks. After beating the first level, you'll go to the second one, where this time, your biggest problem will be this huge Mario.exe, who seems to be infected by a fungus, that will immediately start chasing you as soon as you're undergrounds. He looks like a bulk version of Mario, has Mushrooms grown on his shoulders & arm, he floats when chasing you despite having some spider legs, his eyes are black & the iris is white. While running from his to escape out there alive, in your way it will appear more of those Poisonous Mushroom enemies. When you finally get out of there safe and sound, at the end of the level, you'll notice that there no flag, so you can't finish this level. The flag seems to have been ripped off & there's blood on the pole. However, when you take a few more steps past the castle, you'll find a wall that's blocking your way & as soon as Luigi sees this, behind him, it will appear that Mario.exe & kill him. The game ends with a smiley face on the black screen, rotating, while the Daisy Bell - IBM 7094 song is playing on the background. Want more content like this?
