Princess Peach invites Mario over to her castle for some cake, but once Mario shows up there, he realizes that Peach has been kidnapped by Bowser and stolen all of the Power Stars from the castle. It's now up to Mario to rescue Princess Peach and restore the Power Stars to the castle.
In this part, we start off our adventure by going up to the first three worlds, Bob-Omb Battlefield, Whomp's Fortress, and Jolly Roger Bay, to find and collect all seven Power Stars from each. Then we go up to Peach's room to play the secret slide level. There are two Power Stars in that level, one of them is a secret one which you can get by getting to the finish line before reaching 21 seconds or above. Also, the Wing Cap will be unlocked in this part, as well as collecting the Power Star from that level. The seventh Power Star from Jolly Roger Bay will be collected on part 2 once we've unlocked the Metal Cap.
