Arriving just under a decade after the original game on Nintendo 64, Mario 64 DS brings with all of the action-packed platforming fun of the first game and remasters it for the following decade on handheld, complete with 30 additional stars, bonus castle secrets, returning minigames from NSMB and the addition of 3 new characters in Yoshi, Luigi & Wario! While a technically sound port with improved character models and graphics, it is considered to be weaker than the original due to the lack of analogue stick function & personal preference.

Starting off the game are each of the protagonists entering Princess Peach's castle, bar Yoshi, who's asleep at the top of the castle just like at the very completion of the N64 original. What follows is the characters being kidnapped and trapped into paintings, requiring Yoshi to free them along with completing levels inside of each of the 15 different courses & 3 battles with bowser. This video covers 93 of these different stars in all of the levels, giving you an in depth journey through most of what the game has to offer. Huge thanks for watching!
