I transcribed the entirety of Jerry's solo on They Love Each Other from the 5/8/77 Cornell Show (youtube.com/watch?v=Lb6CoT5zzAw), but I thought the first couple licks are so cool that they merited a video of their own.
The first lick incorporates "enclosures," where Jerry outlines chord tones by surrounding them with neighboring notes. The second lick implies the chord substitutions of G13 to Cmaj7 over the G7 to C chords, bringing in a Django-esque jazzy sound to a song where you wouldn't expect it.
