"Super Bomberman 5 Arena" is an attempt to bring back the battle mode experience of this original Super Nintendo title, but now with more scenarios, mechanics, items, and content diversity.

It's a fangame made by @Rangelukaz and is still in development.​

Currently available:
- 10 playable characters, including Matey Bomber.
- Over 130 map layouts
- 30 scenario themes
- Tag Team
- Mount removed from the original game: Warooi
- New items
- Improved mechanics
