I actually based the scenes in the part on actual clips from the DSOD movie!!!! It was a blast to do!!
The overall theme of the MAP is loss/ppl absent from characters life. This part is specifically about Yugi missing Atem after he leaves for the afterlife. Im really glad the movie expanded upon that grief; I feel like it was something we were robbed of when Duel Monsters was airing. Atem was such a major part of Yugi and it makes sense his absence is deeply felt and deeply grieved!
BUT YEAH!!!! This part was so healing for me. I whipped it out in a couple days, and had hella fun doing it. Sometimes you dont realize just how much time goes into making detailed bgs, shading, and doing fancy tweening until you dont have to do all that! This part was the fastest Ive done in a while, and caused no stress!!!
Cat-wise, I HC Yugi as an Exotic Shorthair and Atem as a Persian. Flat faced cat side views are a crisp layer of hell tho so idk if that comes across well, alas!
