Good morning, world! Can you remember the last time a magical sunrise changed your day for the better? ☀️

Sunrise this morning should occurred locally around 6:37 a.m. Mountain Daylight Time. The wind is forecast to be strong this morning, but we'll try to cover the microphone as much as possible.

House wrens and house finches nest in the rafters of the Human History Museum, so you may pick up some of their morning songs if the wind abates.

If you're curious about the mountains in the distance: from left to right, you're seeing the West Temple, the Sundial, and the Altar of Sacrifice (some of the smaller peaks lack names).

Take a deep breath and relax to the sights and sounds of nature welcoming another weekend.
