“There's a sunrise and a sunset every single day, and they're absolutely free. Don't miss so many of them.” - Jo Walton

Good morning, world! Welcome to another sunrise at Zion National Park. Take a deep breath and relax to the sights and sounds of nature welcoming another weekend. Sunrise this morning occurred locally around 6:45 a.m. Mountain Daylight Time.

Enjoy this clear morning view of the Towers of the Virgin. From left to right, you're seeing the West Temple, the Sundial, and the Altar of Sacrifice (some of the smaller peaks lack names).

The birds you'll likely hear in the broadcast are a combination of house wrens and house finches which nest in the rafters of the Human History Museum where this footage is taken. If you look closely, you may even see a family of mule deer picking their way across the brush field. Tell us if you hear something different!

Have a wonderful weekend and stay safe!
