After remarkable debut "Hidden Scenes" last year, Sun drugs returns with the new album "Low", redefining his aesthetic. While the "dark-ambient" tag still applies, "Low" is more eclectic, introducing new industrial tex tures and languid electronics into a less smoky environ ment. Kawalarz still marches into darkness armed with sad and vaporous pads, drenched in reverb and ashes ("Cheating The Bats", "Escape NIA" or the opaque 22 minutes of final track "2082" ); but as the cover sug gests, there's also a thin sliver of light in this ocean of coal (the surprising "Billion Of Light Years", "Somno lence Airlines" or the opening minutes of "Melanistic Aberration").
