Hailing from beautiful island of Tasmania, Gazm produces thunderous electronic mayhem under the alias 'Poynt Too' with the emphasis on broken beats and heavy basslines. Originally a DJ and the driving force behind the long-running 'Freestyle Frolics' podcast, he took a Bachelors degree in Audio production and never looked back.
He's as much as master of the live jam - think MPC, Deluge, Decks & destruction - as he is with the DAW, combining an insane knowledge of music with a clinical attention to detail and an amazing feel for what makes people move. Plus he's a great artist (gazm-graffiti-style) and father of the wonderful Maddie, who'll be joining Loullamae for the epic nine-year-old quiz takeover!
It goes without saying, he's also a super lovely person - that's the only real qualification required to come on this show and he's got it in spades - talented, humble and the best friend you've never met.
It'll be 5am on Monday morning for Maddie and Gaz when the show starts - I'm so honoured to have them with us. We've actually been waiting for the clocks to change to give them an extra hour!
