Billy Stewart (3/24/37-1/17/70) recorded an album of classics in 1966 titled "Billy Stewart Teaches Old Standards New Tricks" which yielded the hit "Summertime". His unique vocal ability gave the song a whole new interpretation. The 'B' side to it was another fine ballad, "To Love, To Love" that is noteworthy and included in this post. Billy Stewart died tragically in a car accident on January 17,1970. Even though he is no longer here, his great music lives on and is enjoyed by a new generation of fans.
