Hello sweet friends, summer has finally arrived here in the Vermont mountains! I have been roaming the woods surrounding where I live, swimming in the cool lakes, visiting the farmers, planting my garden, working on new books, and making granola. Whew! It feels like there is sooo much going on, each day has been so full. I wanted to share some of what has been happening lately with you. I believe that story is art - that it's sacred, and that it is and has always been a force that changes and shapes our world. That's why I write, and that's why I create videos (even co-produced an environmental film). I consider the world my home, and enjoy submerging in unique cultures nearly as much as I love submerging in the ocean and riding the waves. I am the author of the young adult urban fantasy series The Blood Race, and am currently working on several new series's.
