Our final Summer Chautauqua performance was with author Flannery O’Connor portrayed by Mallory Ivy. Ivy brought O’Connor’s sense of humor, Southern charm, and delicate voice to this performance with stories of O’Connor’s life and excerpts from her short stories. Members of the History Center now have access to this program recorded in the Cottrell Digital Studio.
We would like to thank everyone who joined us for this summer’s Chautauqua performances! We look forward to next year when we will have a new theme and new historic characters to meet.
