"No big production values. Just me and my guitar. Hope you like it" - Stephen
Stephen was the lead tenor in several high profile choirs and spent a decade as the cantor at St. James' Cathedral, Toronto where he met many celebrities including Desmond Tutu, Queen Elizabeth, King Charles and other members of the royal family.
He'll regularly be singing Victorian/Edwardian era songs (mid 1800's to early 1900's) at the Ken Seiling Waterloo Region Museum's Doon Heritage Village starting in summer 2026.
SUMMER
The lightness of the days of spring,
Is deepening hour by hour,
As summer's warming winds they bring,
The fulness of the flower.
We feel the heat of summer sun,
We see the glowing haze,
And under shady branches shun,
The burning summer blaze.
The storms of summer bring the rain,
That cools the baking earth,
And children playing in the lane,
Await the rainbow's birth.
Seasons come and seasons go,
As time moves slowly on,
And summer's lengthening shadows grow,
As fall begins its song.
