This lore video covers Meg & Gadget's backstory. It takes place between the events of Suikoden 1 and 2 in the village of Rikon in the SY 459. It covers the creation of Gadget, and how Meg and Gadget begun their journey together.

This story was told in a short story titled 'The Sky, the Smoke, and the Mainspring', from the Genso Suikoden Short Story Collection 1, a book that released in Japan in August 2000.
