NTSB Vice Chairman Michael Graham is retiring — just five months after getting the job. Graham announced on August 28, 2026 that he's stepping down effective October 2, citing no reason for the timing. He's served on the board since January 2020 and was reconfirmed to a new five-year term just three months ago. No successor has been named.
