Today, we have my latest pattern, Subtle Shades. It uses a layer cake consisting of 10" precut squares. By making a few cuts, we will piece it back together to create a scrappy quilt quickly. It's an easy quilt pattern for beginners and simple enough to create a twin-size quilt.

Measurements for Block Pattern:
Cut from 10" squares.
Subcut:
1 - 4½" x 8 ½" rectangle
1 - 2½" x 8 ½" rectangle
4 - 2½" squares
