A method of casually speedrunning Subnautica that should be accessible to most players, without requiring an eidetic memory. A reworked version of an earlier video, now for Subnautica 2.0, on Survival difficulty, and usable for Hardcore.
The run is divided into 17 “Dives”, each with a particular goal. The technique makes use of the Scanner Room, which is acquired early. This shows how to do it without the Ultra Capacity Tank, though gets the materials for it. While building the Stasis Rifle is not necessary, it would be highly advisable for Hardcore difficulty. Cheating is avoided as much as possible; the Captain’s Quarters Code is obtained legitimately, and while I tried to avoid multiple tanks, it was necessary at one point.
