This song is the bop that I didn't know that I needed in my life. I am so addicted to this song.
I was thinking of the song and was like, "STOP SINGING" and then this beauty came to life. :D
Today I learned how to use audacity, and did the echo effect in there with the song. I tried to filter out Sapphire's singing later on, but couldn't after like 45 minutes of trying to figure it out so I just left the sound bite alone. I will totally be using the echo effect whenever I do videos cause hot damn.
I don't know if this has been done, but if not here ya go!
For those subbed to me, yeah it's been a hot minute since I uploaded a video, and the thing I come back with is a meme lol. I have editing ideas all the time, I just have no motivation for it. I'm also back at college now, so my time for editing is less limited than it used to be.

First off: HOLY TORTELLINI THIS VIDEO. Originally this wasnt going to be for 6K, but I ended up getting 6K as it was being made, so why not? Not like I was doing it for another reason lmao. Thanks for the 6K everyone! :D (Even if I dont post much of what youre subscribed to me for.)
I actually was on the fence about making this video, mostly cause I didnt think Id be able to do a full length kinda candy style video. Ironically I started this on my birthday (the 21st), took a week break since I was on vacation, came back and did this off and on until last night when I FINALLY got it all complete. Yall know where my priorities lie if Im doing this instead of studying for exams or RL stuff that needs to get done lmao.
A big shout out to my friend in the Batman Writers Unite Facebook group for hooking me up with a TON of Dick Grayson comic panels when I asked if anyone could send me some. Shes the real MVP, because I doubt there would have been much comics in here if it wasnt for her sending me so many.
Id like to point out that this video is the MOST layers I have ever done in my video editing career. The total amount of video layers came to 165. It probably couldve been less, since it was a mess with stuff sometimes but I figured it out. Im honestly surprised there isnt a Dick Grayson High Hopes video out there since this song IS LITERALLY DICK.
I ended up using the Caleb Hyles version over the original for the sake of, the laugh at the beginning and his version had more beats I could use for effects. Also for the sake of, I knew this project was going to take time and this song is constantly on the radio. I didnt want to hit myself with a brick because I was so tired of the original lol.
ALSO FORGOT TO ADD THIS WHEN I ORIGINALLY UPLOADED THIS. Btw, if yall know me you know that Dick isnt actually a favorite DC character of mine. I do like him dont get me wrong, but he wouldnt be my first choice of Which Robin I like the best? or Which Batbro do I like the best?. Why did I try so hard? Just to see if I could lol, but after working on this for quite some time I can see why some people love him so much. Just one thing though: long hair Dick is best Dick dont @ me.
I tried to use every animated Dick Grayson I had downloaded at least once, or at least the animated universe that Dick Grayson is in, which is why I have so much media in here. Its not all the media Dick is in, obviously, because I can name at least three I know of off the top of my head that I dont have downloaded. So no, Wheres Dick from x? If that media isnt in here, its most likely I dont have it at the time this video was made.
I will not answer the which comic is this from? because I do not know the answer to the majority of the comics I used. The only two I know for certain are the Teen Titans GO! comics and the Young Justice comics, everything else I dont know where the source is so please do us both a favor and not ask lol.

My friend Lyoko2516 (who yall should sub to if you like Code Lyoko lol) asked me how to get timecode, and the way she phrased it seemed like she wanted it as a countdown instead of a countup.
This is like my first Tut since like January? Lol. Ive been meaning to get a masking Tut up, but thatll take a while to edit because of all the stops and stuff.
I do realize NewBlue and Sapphire (I think?) have their own time stuff, but I dont think she has those, plus I dont use timecodes from there anyway. Maybe they have a countdown there.
Before I got the extra effects, I knew there was a timecode somewhere. The reason I did both Video/PNG is because PNG files tend to be smoother then video. If I actually checked and had them at the same time, which I originally though until I rendered the full codes on each, you could probably see which is smoother.
On the thumbnail the left of the time is the video and the right is PNG. You can adjust size and what not and move it around, I just chose to keep it in a specific place for convenience.
This is probably a no brainer, and a why did you do this? video. But even the simplest things we overlook. Hell it took me awhile to realize, insert empty media was a thing. (It works for stuff like this and some visible transitions.)
If I actually bothered to look through frames more, I couldve caught some me hitting my taskbar, oh well. *Shrugs* Whats done is done I guess.
PS: I rarely take Tut requests. I only did it this time, because it was easier to show her how to do this instead of typing out and/or sending screenshots. So yea. Got this done in less than an hour, lol.

The challenge goes like this: Go back to all the MEP/Collab parts you have done over the years and showcase what you like the most. Ive seen people use video projects as well, but basically the goal is to appreciate your editing! :D Then tag as many people as you want.
I tag anyone who wants to do this. If you need a reason to showcase your old/current editing, well here I am nominating the person reading this if you havent done it yet! :)
Since I love going overboard with things, this ended up being at least 3 parts so far. With me doing ALL the WLMM MEP/Collab parts I thoroughly enjoyed over the years into one video got to be like a half hour and I know I sometimes dont have the attention span to watch MEP packets that long oof. I didnt want to limit myself to anything like I do with my MEP Packets so thats why certain months have a lot, since some of them were reallllly long. I also wanted to separate the WLMM editing and SV. Did I need over 50 parts in one video so far? Nope. Did I do it anyway? Yep.
Sorry for how low quality the videos seem to be, I only had the packets for most of these parts and the packets were always rendered at 480 back then since WLMM was a bitch rerendering HD parts into another HD video. I ended up deleting the original video file since back then my laptop didnt have much storage on it for everything. I tried putting a watermark on everything that wasnt watermarked but I forgot one RIP and ended up leaving the watermark on a part that had one. Gah. Allie needs sleep or a cocktail, or both.
Also: I literally had to go back through all my MEP packets to see what I liked, and used my phones notepad to keep track so it wasnt hard listing everything here lol. It was time consuming but maybe worth it?
