Stupid Robot Fighting League | Stupid Robot Fighting League - The Head Track System @StupidRobotFightingLeague | Uploaded April 2017 | Updated October 2024, 20 hours ago.
Welcome to an informal presentation of the new head track system used in Stupid Robot Fighting League.
I eventually shorted the two pieces of wood attached to the skateboard truck and mounted the loose washers on the underside of those same pieces of wood. It now works a treat!
This means that no matter your height you can operate your robot. No more head poles. The disadvantage is that you have no more side to side movement of your robot. Oh well never mind.
Check out a fight video with the new head track in action.

Stupid Robot Fighting League is a funny new sport from Te Puke, New Zealand.
In it's simplest form, two robots with no robotics are controlled by poles attached to their hands, feet and head.
They beat up the other robot. It's lots of fun. If one robot's head is removed it's counted as a knockout.
We are working towards a full blown YouTube show of about 30 minutes. This would consist of two teams building their robots and all sorts of silliness in between.
We hope to make you laugh. We hope to have fun.
