Following NSW Police Force's challenge to 'Stuff Your Chopper', NSW RFS and other emergency services got to work collecting food to donate to Foodbank NSW & ACT. In just a few short weeks, NSW RFS volunteers and staff have donated a massive 18,123kg! Just a little more than the NSW Police's 1,250kg (a fair effort though!).
An impressive increase on last years almost 13 tonne result, we must thank all NSW RFS members, local communities and business support such as the donations received from Arnott's Biscuits and Coca-Cola Amatil.
These donations will assist almost 10,000 Aussie families doing it tough this Christmas.
