During the recent flooding events in the Hawkesbury, the Oakville RFB played an important role in supporting their local community. They assisted with evacuations, pumped water from flooded houses and removed thick mud from properties. Sadly, the brigade had to return six weeks later when some of the same properties flooded once again. Alongside other NSWRFS brigades, they greatly assisted in the recovery process for the residents in their local community.
