What happens when you combine arcade games, Arduino coding, motion sensors, and a little creativity? First-year electrical engineering concentrators Aster Dean and Sami Cuaresma built “Slam Dunk,” a carnival-style game that uses motion and pressure sensors, an Arduino, and an LED matrix to track each shot in real time. Designed to be playful and interactive, the project challenged them to learn new skills in coding, soldering, and troubleshooting while bringing a familiar arcade experience to life at a smaller scale.
