Arc Raiders Stella Montis trio with Doug and 718Shas. We're running free loadouts so we're just pushing everyone we see in Medical. Combat's going crazy, enemies everywhere. I'm trying to escape through a window to reposition during the fight. I jump toward it to vault through but something goes wrong. I get stuck on the window collision. I'm not going through, not vaulting, not climbing — just stuck jumping in place. The game's detecting my input as a regular jump instead of a vault. I'm screaming "just get through the window" but my character won't listen. I keep hitting the same spot and nothing happens. We end up getting overrun because I couldn't escape through that window. This is the problem with window mechanics in shooters where jump and vault share the same button. The game can't decide what you're trying to do and it costs you the fight 💀

The window mechanic needs a dedicated button. Jump and vault sharing the same input is chaos when you're mid-fight trying to escape. I press it expecting to vault through and my character just keeps jumping in place at the collision point. We get overrun because I can't reposition. This is exactly why window mechanics are frustrating in shooters — the game can't figure out your intent when one button does two things.
