Other Mommy official trailer reaction — 5 minutes of my full thoughts. This trailer is effective. It hooks you immediately and builds dread with every scene. A paranormal entity called "Other Mommy" starts appearing to a young girl and threatening her family. The setup is solid, the atmosphere is creepy, and Jessica Chastain playing both the real mom and this sinister presence is genius. Then there's that scene — Other Mommy is underneath the table, hanging from below, just clinging there with that evil smile. That jump scare hit me hard. The trailer does enough to make you either want to buy a ticket or avoid it altogether. It doesn't quite stick the landing with the ending, but everything leading up to that moment is solid horror. October 9 can't come fast enough 🔥

The trailer does exactly what it's supposed to do: it makes you uncomfortable, builds dread, and gives you a genuine moment of terror.
