On this fourth day of the STS-86 mission, the flight crew, Cmdr. James D. Wetherbee, Jr., Pilot Michael J. Bloomfield, Mission Specialists Scott E. Parazynski, Jean-Loup Chretien, Vladimir G. Titov, Wendy B. Lawrence and David A. Wolf spend their first full day aboard the Atlantis-Mir space complex. The ten astronauts and cosmonauts begin the transfer of more than four tons of supplies. With that transfer, Mike Foale will conclude 134 days as a Mir crew member and board Atlantis as a member of the STS-86 crew. Foale spends time with Wolf, acquainting him with his new home and showing him the location of experiments and hardware. Released Sept. 1997.
