Cape Canaveral Space Force Museum | STS Systems Documentation Report, Vandenberg AFB, 1984 (Audio Issues, See Description) @ccspacemuseum | Uploaded February 2021 | Updated October 2024, 10 hours ago.
(The VHS cassette source for this video had a secondary background audio track that sounds like an electrical engineering lecture. We don't have the technology to remove it. Most likely, the cassette was delivered this way to our archives from NASA.)
This video documents development of Space Transportation System (AKA Space Shuttle) operations at Vandenberg AFB in California during 1984. In addition to Kennedy Space Center, the Shuttle was also planned to launch from Vandenberg, but those plans were cancelled after the Challenger accident in January 1986.
