German strongpoint Nessel at Equihen was built for a heavy anti-aircraft battery to defend the fortress of Boulogne. It was only finished in June 1944. Instead of 88mm guns, it only got 20mm guns. The Mammut shipping radar belonged to the Kriegsmarine. Most bunkers are closed.
