Seems like whatever impacted the planet in the past and caused both the plague and the evil voices plus brought modern tech was not just some ordinary comet. Curiously enough, the Programmer did not unleash a Spectre upon his death. Hmm.

This feels like the most compressed and gutted spot of whatever scope they had originally planned. A path split even? Yeah, that is a lot.
It is not exactly clear but it seems that whoever the Oracle was previously is long dead and now is just a skeleton with a mask through which another Spectre could communicate and manipulate events as the Oracle. But if the Order is being manipulated against itself from inside then what is going on? The Oracle was also helping the Front. Huh.

You have two options. You can trust the Oracle and kill Macil or continue to trust Macil and expose the Oracle. This changes events but trusting Macil is the "default" path.
Let's face it. The Oracle was a puppet of whatever horror is behind the Order and Macil showed only support for humanity and was visibly disturbed by the idea you would trust the Oracle instead. Even if he is evasive with the knowledge he somehow has about the Oracle.

Something still stinks here.
