Stride: Fates finally delivers JoyWay's long-promised narrative campaign for their parkour series, spreading twelve levels across shooter, stealth and pure-parkour missions in the dystopian Airon City. When the traversal and gunfire lock in, it's the closest thing standalone VR has to Mirror's Edge. Too often, though, the early weapons feel flat, the stealth levels undercut the flow, and upgrade-pack hunts stop the run cold. An ambitious swing with uneven follow-through.
