After all the years that I have now been doing street photography, I have analysed what I pull out of my photography bag the most and come to the conclusion in this video that there are 3 essential focal lengths you must have to be able to work well in getting great shots for street photography. They are the 16mm, 23mm and 35mm lenses in any brand of APS-C camera. The focal equivalents are 24, 35 and 50 basically. The most used lens however is by far the 23mm focal length on aps-c (35mm on full frame)
