Many people have asked me to suggest whether they should buy the Fujinon 80mm f/2.8 macro or the Fujinon 90mm f/2.8. The answer to that question is not that simple. This video looks into my scoop on when you should buy the Fujinon 80mm macro and when you should get a Fujinon 90mm f/2.0 for either your portrait photography workflow or your macro photography workflow.

The conclusion is the following. Both lenses are greatr for their all around image quality. Unfortunately, the 80mm macro goes against a beast in terms of IQ. A quality only seen on the side of the german lens elite. If you are a macro nut, buy the 80mm but if you want to serve the double purpose, do not get the macro. Prioritize the 90mm for its sharpness and great image quality and rent the 80mm
