Street Epistemology Survey - 11 of 24 "Believing something that is false feels just like believing something that is true."
On this episode, Rupert and David soldier on with number 11 of the Street Epistemology survey, the survey that creates a space to explore our ideas about truth. Number 11 invokes subjects surrounding our intuitions and feelings, we get into testing our sensations, and the use of hypotheticals in conversations about sensitive topics. Let's see what else we learn from this exchange that isn't necessarily a typical Street Epistemology conversation, but two friends paddling together on the waterways of truth exploration.
SE is a compassionate conversation tool that helps create a space to explore and examine the sufficiency of the reasons, and the reliability of the methods we use, to support a high level of confidence that a belief we hold is true.
Collaborating with Portland based filmmaker Rupert Wild, David "Tex" Venegas discusses with Rupert the results of each of their individual responses to the SE survey.
