This Video is Not Intended for Children!
Intro & Outro Music: (my cousin) Joel Kaiser & The Devil's Own - Leavin This Life Behind, youtu.be/13_gPqPnA2E
Strawberry plants can be diploid, tetraploid, pentaploid, hexaploid, heptaploid, octoploid, or decaploid.
The last time I mentioned the parent plants, and therefore these seedlings probably being tetraploid, I meant octoploid, or decaploid.
These names are not a count of the strawberry chromosomes, directly, as I seem to be implying, but refer to the number of sets of chromosomes.
Strawberry plants can have 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, or 10 sets of the seven chromosomes.
(I should have written a script for this one!)
