This is an oil painting landscape demonstration in time lapse from Scottish Artist Scott Naismith.

In this video I've got 4 main tips for artists taking on commissioned paintings. This is explained in the commentary. In short, they are:

1. Why you?
2. Retain your integrity.
3. Charge a premium.
4. Try to offer 'no obligation'.

Strathaven is a rural town south of Glasgow, Scotland.

Music clips are from 'Not the Face'. It's my brother's band's new song, 'Tourniquet'. Stay tuned to hear it in full in a later video!
