Jessica and I drove out to Stratford, Ontario for one reason Paul Gross in Waiting for Godot at the Stratford Festival.
This turned into a full day in the life: two goth girls wandering around downtown Stratford, ducking into strange little shops we found before the show. The highlight was Warrior Shaman's House of Magick, which delivered exactly the witchy, unhinged energy the name promises - think crystals, oddities, and the kind of shop you could get lost in for an hour without noticing. We hit a few other local spots too, the kind of unique, independent stores you only find by actually walking around a small town instead of googling "things to do in Stratford Ontario."
Then we sat down for a two and a half hours of Samuel Beckett, with the incredible Paul Gross leading a genuinely phenomenal cast at the Stratford Festival.
This isn't a polished travel guide. It's just us — wandering, being nosy about small shops, hunting for witchy stuff, and going to see a play I have loved for a long time. If "goth girls do a day trip and check out a magick shop and theatre" sounds like your kind of vlog, come along for the ride.
