4K video of the day after the storm: it subsided significantly, but the sea is not calm or clear and there are occasional showers and winds. Playa Bayahibe beach, the Puerto Bayahibe and all along the sea shore took the brunt of the storm, with everything inland safe and untouched. A few signs of damage requiring repair can be seen along the seafront in Puerto Bayahibe but mostly the cleanup will deal with seaweed and debris washed up and thrown up by waves. Bayahibe beach, usually seaweed free, is now covered in it its full length. Only the outer edge of the hurricane touched the area.
