This is Storm Ashley, the first named storm of the season, as seen from space on Sunday. The strongest winds are in the north and west of the UK - closest to the centre of the storm. For these areas, Met Office yellow and amber weather warnings have been issued. Gusts of wind in the warning areas could reach 60-80mph.
