This is Typhoon Doksuri, known as Typhoon Egay in the Philippines, spinning around over the South China Sea, with 120mph sustained winds. The typhoon has already caused damage and destruction in the Philippines and Taiwan. It will make landfall in SE China early on Friday, with damaging winds, a coastal storm surge & heavy rain.
