Before JURASSIC PARK (1993), before the INDIANA JONES franchise, before STAR WARS (1977), and before EQUINOX (1970), Dennis Muren made some 8mm home movies inspired by what he saw. After he saw such films like the original, WAR OF THE WORLDS (1953) (did I ever he worked on the 2005 remake), and THE BEAST FROM 20’000 FATHOMS (1953). This is rare and worth the watch and by the time your done, you have wondered that he has gone a long way. You might remember his battle with a Phorusrhacos back in 1959.
