Good intentions can quietly wreck your margins.
I’m learning this more the longer I’m in business.
Being kind does not mean having no boundaries.
It does not mean every small add-on becomes “no big deal.”
Because enough “no big deals” eventually become a very big deal.
A little extra here.
A quick favor there.
One more thing added to the scope.
Then suddenly the team is stretched, the client is under-supported, and nobody is happy.
That is the part people miss.
Boundaries are not the opposite of generosity.
They are what make generosity sustainable.
A good client experience needs clear expectations.
Not endless goodwill with no structure.
