Master the Clone to Own verbal aikido tactic to confuse, destabilize, and outmaneuver absolutists and Trumpists.
If you've ever tried calling out a Trumpist, a narcissist, or an absolutist — and watched every argument bounce right off them — this video is for you. Nothing works on them. That's by design. Absolutism is total insulation from influence. So what do you do?
You stop trying to prove yourself. You stop moralizing. And you start using Clone to Own.
Clone to Own is a verbal aikido move: you take what they're saying, run with it past the edge of parody, and destabilize them so completely they can't tell whether you're mocking them or agreeing with them. I also call it Liekido — aikido, but with lies. A lie for a lie. Not because you believe your own performance, but because confusion is the one thing that can penetrate total absolutism.
In this video I cover:
→ Why moralizing, name-calling, and fact-checking never work on absolutists
→ The psychology of absolutism — why they're addicted to eternal self-confidence
→ Clone to Own explained: how to execute it without tipping into obvious parody
→ Liido: using their own tactics to create a mirror they can't look away from
→ When they ask "Are you mocking me?" — and how to double down
→ The HAYA principle: Human As You Are — meeting people where they actually are
→ Repertoire, not recipe: why there's no single formula for this work
This is part of my ongoing series on psychoproctology — the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of absolutism. Whether you're dealing with a political extremist, a workplace narcissist, or a family member who has gone full absolutist, these tools belong in your repertoire.
