This stitch with me covers the full finishing (with accessory!) of Dr. Raven, an Animal Cracker by Stacy Nash, stitching by hand.
Recommended:
Sewing thread of choice - I used Soie 100/3 for seams, and Surfine for fine details and slip stitching
Backing fabric - NB: I kept erroneously referring to my backing fabric as my lining, I was in garment mode. If you hear me say lining, I mean backing! Apologies.
Shears for larger cutting, small scissors for detailed cutting
Fine sewing needle - I used a #10 milliners
Marking tool - I recommend semi permanent methods only, like a chalk pencil
Small ruler
Turning tool(s) as needed
Stuffing: I used wool roving
Fusible interfacing at your discertion: I did not use it, but depending on your linen, count, and the stuffing used, you may want it

The ball point tool with the blue handle is from Amazon, it's a 'clay shaper' so search ball point clay shaper and you should find something similar. You generally want a larger ball end because the smaller it is, the easier it is to poke right through your fabric.

The chain used is an antique silver 3+1, purchased from Artbeads. They don't still appear to stock this exact product but you can find similar chains here: artbeads.com/silver-chain

Details on Dr Raven: stitched on Legacy Linen 45 Nightingale with
Surfine 2099, 2562, 2694, Blanc, Noir
Bijoux: Obsidian, Black Pearl
