In this video I show you how I harvest wild stinging nettle, and four different ways to prepare it for eating.
Nettle is such an amazing plant, and a perfect gateway herb to get people into foraging and wild crafting. If you’ve never done it before, nettle will give you the courage to do it again!

Nettle Smoothie Recipe
(serves 1)
Half a frozen banana
Tablespoon of ground flaxseed
Handful of fresh nettle (wear gloves), or a heaped tablespoon of powdered nettle
Scoop of vanilla protein powder
Teaspoon of nut butter
½ teaspoon of coconut oil
½ avocado
Cup of plant milk
Cup of water
For the chocolate version, swap out the vanilla protein powder for a tablespoon of cacao and add 4 dates or some maple syrup to sweeten it up.
