Stillste Stund veröffentlichen Web-EP "Grüße aus dem Fegefeuer"
Nach 15 Jahren geben Stillste Stund erstmals neues Material für die Öffentlichkeit frei!
Dabei waren Inanis und Oliver all die Zeit über nach eigenen Angaben keineswegs inaktiv.
Viele Songs, Alben und Erzähl-Zyklen nach 2008 hat das eigenwillige Ausnahmeprojekt im Rahmen einer sehr zurückgezogenen Lebensweise einfach nicht mehr veröffentlicht.
Und darum nennen sie ihre Arbeiten seit dem auch 'Schattenwerke', denn sie entstehen abseits vom Licht der öffentlichen Welt, von kommerziellen Einschränkungen oder Vorgaben und Erwartungen von außen.
Im Frühjahr letzten Jahres dann der unangekündigte und sehr unerwartete Remix von Inanis zum "Marsch in Unschärfe Verlorener", gepostet auf dem YouTube-Kanal von Dark Dimensions.
Schnell machten Gerüchte um eine mögliche Rückkehr in's öffentliche Licht und um eine anstehende Veröffentlichung die Runde.
Nun wird dies wahr!
Angekündigt ist zunächst eine Web-EP "mit einigen Abscheulichkeiten, passend zu den Untergangssehnsüchten dieser Welt, dieser Zeit", wie sie selbst sagen.
Die Tracks sollen groteske Prosa und Endzeit-Lyrik enthalten und stehen somit ganz in der bewährten Tradition von Stillste Stund.
Das Werk hat 7 Tracks, 4 neue Stücke und 3 Zugaben, über gut 40 Minuten Spielzeit und trägt den Namen "Grüße aus dem Fegefeuer".
Man darf überaus gespannt sein!

Stillste Stund to release web EP "Grüße aus dem Fegefeuer"
After 15 years, Stillste Stund are releasing new material to the public for the first time! According to their own statements, Inanis and Oliver have been by no means inactive all these years.
The exceptional project has simply not released songs, albums and whole story cycles after 2008, because of a very withdrawn way of life. And that's why they call these pieces 'shadow works', because they are created far away from the light of the public world, from commercial restrictions or expectations from outside.
Then, in the spring of last year, the unannounced and very unexpected remix by Inanis for "Marsch in Unschärfe Verlorener" hit the public, posted on the YouTube channel of Dark Dimensions. Rumours had it quickly about a possible comeback and an upcoming release.
Now this is coming true! A web EP has been announced "with some abominations, matching the longing for doom in this world, in these times", as they say themselves. The tracks are said to contain grotesque prose and apocalyptic poetry and are thus fully in the well-known tradition of Stillste Stund.
The release contains 7 tracks, 4 new pieces and 3 encores, over approx.
40 minutes playing time and is called "Grüße aus dem Fegefeuer" (translated as "greetings from purgatory)
