The new FSA 57 Cordless Grass Trimmer is part of the STIHL AK system of garden tools and is perfect for tackling long grass and thinning out overgrown areas around your garden.
Similar to all other products in the AK system range, the STIHL FSA 57 grass trimmer uses an interchangeable 36 V battery, which can be used in any of the lawn mowers, hedge trimmers, blowers and chainsaws in the range.
Combining the 36 V battery with an efficient motor enables this STIHL grass trimmer to provide incredibly impressive trimming performance, with minimal noise. So, there’s no need to worry about having to wear ear defenders whilst you work, which also makes the FSA 57 ideal for noise-sensitive areas.
When used with the recommended AK 10 battery, 25-minute run time can be achieved, that’s up to 625 metres of trimming and edging!
With the design featuring a handy spacer bracket, you can easily trim around obstacles and along fence lines without damaging them. Other design features include:
🔶Adjustable Shaft 🔶
By the simple push of a button, you can adjust the height of the shaft. You can also adjust the handle position without tools too. This means you can quickly and easily adjust the tool to suit you and the task at hand.
🔶Nylon Line Head 🔶
The STIHL FSA 57 trimmer line head offers easy maintenance such as replacing the line, or even whole head, without the use of tools. Additionally, you can extend the line, whilst in use, by bumping it on the ground.
🔶Hanging Eyelet 🔶
Storing a grass trimmer in your shed or garage has never been easier or neater with the FSA 57’s hanging eyelet.
🔶Neutral Locking Position 🔶
Featuring a neutral locking position, you can transport the FSA 57 with the battery safely, without the risk of the tool starting.
To start up the machine all you need to do is, flick the trigger locking switch forward, cover the trigger interlock with your hand and then pull up the trigger.
