Introducing StickiNote – The Ultimate Digital Sticky Notes App for ESP32-P4! 🚀
This embedded Post-it application is optimized for ESP32-P4’s high-speed clock and MIPI DSI 10-inch display, delivering a smooth and responsive user experience!
Features:
✔️ Digital sticky notes – create, edit, move, resize, and delete notes.
✔️ Persistent storage (NVS) – notes are saved as JSON and restored on reboot.
✔️ Animated splash screen – seamless UI transition.
✔️ Floating Action Button (FAB) – quickly add new notes.
✔️ LVGL 9 optimized – for smooth animations and low memory usage.
✔️ Touch & Drag support – fully interactive UI.
Why ESP32-P4?
This project requires ESP32-P4 for its fast clock speed & MIPI DSI support to run smoothly on a 10-inch high-resolution display. Standard ESP32 boards may not perform optimally.

![A Useless Rubiks Cube Solver
Why build a standalone Rubiks Cube solver when smartphone apps already exist? Because I wanted a physical, screen-free gadget to play with together with my kids!
This is a fully handheld, offline Rubiks Cube solver powered by an ESP32-S3. It scans the cube using a built-in camera, detects colors with OpenCV, allows manual touch correction via an LVGL UI, and guides you through the solution step-by-step on a 2-inch LCD screen—all without needing a phone, cloud, or PC.
Hardware Components
• MCU: ESP32-S3 (Dual-Core, PSRAM)
• Board: Waveshare ESP32-S3-Touch-LCD-2
• Display: 2.0-inch ST7789T3 SPI LCD (240x320) + CST816S Touch Screen
• Camera: OV5640 Camera Module
• Battery: Internal LiPo Battery with Physical Power Switch
• Enclosure: Custom 3D Printed Case

![Just look how satisfying this motion is
I built a real-time gravity particle simulation using an ESP32-S3 and a gorgeous 1.75-inch AMOLED round display (466x466 px).
Watch the square particles react smoothly to every single tilt, driven by a built-in IMU sensor. Gravity. Dictating the flow.

![I Built a Digital Pixelation Device Inspired by Hakusi Katei’s Pixel Cube
Inspired by Japanese designer Hakusi Katei and their stunning Pixel Cube, I created my own interpretation — a digital pixelation device that brings the same analog magic to life in a modern, interactive form.
This device captures real-time input, processes it using OpenCV, and renders a pixelated version on screen. Whats special is that you can interact with it by touch to change the size of the mosaic tiles, creating a playful and emotional visual experience.
As a firmware engineer, Im usually focused on digital code and function — but this project connected me with a more visual, emotional, and analog-like aesthetic.
I’ll continue evolving this project to make it feel even more analog and expressive.
